Guest questions

Frequently asked questions

Is the house really just ours?

Yes. You rent the whole detached house with its garden and private hot tub; you don't share them with other guests.

How many people can sleep there, and where?

Up to 6. Both bedrooms are in the attic: bedroom 1 has a double and a large double bed, bedroom 2 a large double bed. One of the bedrooms is a walk-through room.

Is the house suitable for families with small children?

A cot is free, and there is a high chair and safety gates for the stairs. Steep stairs lead to the attic and a stream runs past the meadow, so small children need watching.

Where do we park?

Free private parking is available near the house, with no need to reserve.

How do we get to the house in winter?

The Vršič pass is usually closed in winter, so you come via Bovec: from the north over the Predel pass, from the south via Tolmin and Kobarid. Winter equipment is required in winter conditions from 15 November to 15 March. Ask about the road up to the house in your enquiry.

How much does a stay cost?

The price depends on the dates and the number of guests. You can see availability and the price for your dates in the calendar on the Contact page, or send an enquiry.

What's provided, and what should we bring?

Bed linen, towels, bathrobes, slippers, a hairdryer and toiletries are provided, and the kitchen is fully equipped. Buy groceries in Bovec, about 20 minutes by car.

Can we bring a dog?

Say in your enquiry what kind of pet you'd bring and ask whether that's possible.

Can we swim in the stream?

There's a bathing spot in the Vrsnica stream by the meadow. The water is ice-cold even in summer; guests mention 6 °C. For a proper swim, the Soča river is about a 25-minute walk away.
